Babes Ride Out. Where do I even start?! I had the absolute priviledge of attending this years annual event, along with 1,200 other bad-ass babes! In a lifestyle that is predominantly overruled by men, it was like a gulp of fresh air being surrounded by so many amazing and inspiring women of all ages who share the same affinity for motorcycles, and life on two wheels (whether it be up front, or sitting b*tch). Being surrounded by such badassery was truly inspiring, to say the least. Event coordinators Anya (@anyavioletuniverse on instagram) and Ashmore (@ashmore on instagram) started the event three years ago under the name Babes in Borrego and there were only 15 girls, a lot less than this third years success of 1,200 attendees (it was cramped, believe me). Held in beautiful Joshua Tree, California; the desert was transformed into what can only be described as some kind of long lost cousin of Burning Man. Peace, love, friendship. These are among some of the artsy vibes around the grounds (which I unfortunately couldn't be bothered to take photos of because I truly believed I wouldn't be able to capture it and do it justice). With multiple stages, structures, vintage trailers with a/c that attendees could rent for the weekend, and a dining area, and a tattoo trailer, the venue truly had a lot to offer. But the most important thing that this event offered was the motorcycles and the babes who ride them, so lets get to the good stuff!
